Radioactive was a black-and-white graffiti ’zine published between 1991 and 1998 — yes, that long ago! The editorial staff consisted mainly of members of our crew, HRC.
So, among my many other web-related projects, I started building an online archive to showcase the material we originally delivered in a shitty black-and-white format. A lot of this material was later published in the books Helsinki Graffiti and HellRaisers Crew – Graffiti from Espoo, Finland est. 1990. These days, much of the content from issues 1–3 is also available — in much better quality, even — on Snapchat303’s Instagram account (definitely worth checking out!).
To avoid too much repetition, I’m not including all the material already published elsewhere (especially in color). That said, there’s still plenty of stuff that has received less coverage, as well as the various reports and interviews we did back in the day. And since the site has no social media accounts attached to it, the only way to explore the material is by visiting the actual site — which lives at radioactive.hrc.fi.
