Thank You For The Music
A “few” years ago, I started working on an online art project, which is now (finally!) published. In a way, I’ve been gathering material ever since I began painting graffiti, but the more recent material has been in the works since 2017 (when I received my first art grant). During the 2020 lockdown I begun collecting all the material I had done so far. Things really started to gain momentum around 2022–2023, and in 2024 I finally began building the actual platform for it. In other words, a website.
During the process, the focus shifted slightly, but the core idea has remained the same: to present both my love for graffiti — especially sketching — and my appreciation for the various bands and genres I’ve been devouring since I was nine years old. I felt the need for a new site and domain simply because the theme differs somewhat from what I’ve presented here in my portfolio. The project itself isn’t commercial, so yes — it’s meant to be enjoyed free of charge.
